Last month, fellow YouTuber West Coast Refuse Trucks and myself had the opportunity to take a trip through Idaho and Utah to check out some garbage trucks! One of our stops along the way was Eagle Rock Sanitation in Idaho Falls, where we caught this Wayne Curbtender on an American LaFrance Condor cab and chassis collecting a garbage on a beautifully scenic rural route! I also had the opportunity to bust out my new GoPro for the first time and grab a couple of packer action shots as well, so keep an eye out for those!
A giant thank you goes out to the incredibly friendly driver for making this one possible! Without his help and guidance, we would probably would have gotten lost by about the third stop!
"Old Purple" Ford C-Series - GarWood LP-900 Rear Loader
Here is yet another living classic from the Sunrise Sanitation fleet: a legendary GarWood LP-900 rear-load body sitting atop the iconic Ford C-Series cab and chassis! As if this classic combo didn't stand out enough, this beauty has been done up in a truly eye-catching black and purple paint scheme! I had the lucky opportunity to hop in and ride-along in this old beast on Sunrise's Friday garbage route, consisting primarily of a large mobile-home park packed with hand-throw manual bins and packer cycles aplenty. Afterwards, we hop in for a quick in-cab driving view, before finishing off with a shot of Sunrise's custom built "gravity tipper" collecting a 64-gallon roll-out cart from a commercial stop. I hope you all enjoy watching yet another living legend in action! I've got more classic trucks to come, including some from the latest U.S. state to be added to my filming repertoire, so stay tuned!
Peterbilt 320 - Wittke Starlight w/ The Curotto-Can
Here's one of the newest trucks handling route out in my corner of the world: a Wittke Starlight front load body on a Peterbilt 320 cab and chassis, outfitted with a Curotto-Can for residential collection. This truck is seen here handling a "take-all" route; the city contract mandates that all refuse placed at the curb must be collected, including bulky items and extra bags and boxes. Previously, the carts were collected by an automated side loader and the "extras" were handled by a rear loader. Using a front loader with a Curotto-Can allows the carts and extras to be collected by the same truck in a single pass, as is seen here! I hope everyone enjoys the video!

Garbage Trucks: The Ultimate Compilation
Long story short, here is one clip each of every single truck that I've filmed (during daylight hours) from August of 2015 through May of 2017, over 135 different trucks in total! Many have been seen before, many will be featured in future uploads, and a few will only ever be seen here! For the dedicated, avid refuse truck enthusiast, grab some popcorn, kick back, and feast your eyes upon this wild assortment of waste collection equipment! Or maybe you don't have time to take in the full 75 minutes all at once? Have no fear! I have broken this mega-compilation up into 5 easily digestible 15-minute segments! Throughout this video, you will find a diverse variety of side loaders, rear loaders, front loaders, and recycling trucks! The oldest truck featured dates back to the 1970's, while the newest truck was only weeks old at the time of filming! There should absolutely be something for everyone here, and I tried very hard to keep it equally exciting from start to finish! Mack TerraPro LEU - Heil Rapid Rail
During my very first trip to California way back in 2012, I was lucky enough to catch one of MCSD's old diesel Volvo Xpeditor/Heil Rapid Rail's in action. In the 5 years that have since come and gone, MCSD has replaced their entire fleet with new CNG trucks, so I decided to go check them out on my most recent trip. This truck is the oddball of the fleet, a Mack TerraPro LEU cab and chassis paired up with a Heil Rapid Rail body. While MCSD has elected to stick with Rapid Rail for their fleet, this is the only Mack; the rest are paired to CCC LET2 chassis... more on that later! Though this is a newer CNG truck, it is still plenty entertaining to watch! Lots of "double dumps" in here too, so lots of bonus style points for the driver! I hope you all enjoy the video!
