"Old Purple" Ford C-Series - GarWood LP-900 Rear Loader

Here is yet another living classic from the Sunrise Sanitation fleet: a legendary GarWood LP-900 rear-load body sitting atop the iconic Ford C-Series cab and chassis! As if this classic combo didn't stand out enough, this beauty has been done up in a truly eye-catching black and purple paint scheme! I had the lucky opportunity to hop in and ride-along in this old beast on Sunrise's Friday garbage route, consisting primarily of a large mobile-home park packed with hand-throw manual bins and packer cycles aplenty. Afterwards, we hop in for a quick in-cab driving view, before finishing off with a shot of Sunrise's custom built "gravity tipper" collecting a 64-gallon roll-out cart from a commercial stop. I hope you all enjoy watching yet another living legend in action!
