Over the past year-and-a-half, my local Waste Management yard has acquired five brand new trucks, the first brand new trucks they've received since 2007!
This Autocar ACX with a McNeilus M/A side load body arrived back in December, and I was lucky enough to catch it during it's very first day on route! This entire video was filmed during this truck's first day of service, just as it was beginning only its second load ever! I was extra lucky catching this truck on a garbage route, the word is that this truck will primarily be used for recycling. It's not too often that an opportunity comes along to film a truck just cutting it's teeth on route, and I'm excited to have been able to do just that!
