Since I was a kid, the Heil Formula 7000 Spilt-Body had been a truck that I always wanted to see in person. Back in January, I finally had the chance to make that a reality in the city of Visalia, CA. In this video, there are three different trucks in total, each nearly identical, with Formula 7000 Split-Bodies mounted on Crane Carrier LET2 cabs and chassis. Each cart is divided with equal size compartments, one for regular garbage, the other for single stream recycling. When emptied into the truck, garbage falls into the bottom section of the truck, with recycling going to the top section. While there are a few obvious drawbacks to the split cart/split truck system, it was a lot of fun to watch and I am glad to finally have these checked off my list! I hope you all have fun watching as well!
Like always, I would like to extend a huge thank you to each of the drivers!
